I feel scammed by MyFind!!!! (Resolved)

I took advantage of this offering,

http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/53005

So far at day 10 I needed to ask for a tracking number, got back a fake one that was manifested at Underwood QLD, now day 30ish, all emails are ignored….this has gotta be the worst online experience I have ever had…Myer proper should be ashamed but I doubt they would care.

Anyone else took advantage of this offer received anything from Myfind and received their item or behavior even remotely paralleling their contractual conditions on the website??

Seriously a strange situation…beware of this online seller, walks like a scam and so far doesn't talk so sounds like a scam also….I cannot be the only one singled out?

Thanks beavis, you know this afternoon I was contacted by phone by Myfind customer service, caught me a little by surprise but it seems they cannot do enough to help our situation out, they are sending a new one to make up for the one they claim got lost by au post, actually if this one arrives every credit to them, i had actually given up expecting the item or even seeing a refund…again every credit to them for taking these steps to make amends/set the situation right.

    cheers

  • Underwood QLD is a major distribution centre for Australia Post, just so you know. At least one other retail chain sends through there (my last online purchase online from EB Games went there as it's first point of call.)

Glad Myfind is making it right for you.

  • i think online stores should use express post to decrease the risk of lost items, sounds like this is more the courier's fault. but good that Myfind finally contacted you!

    • I thought express post had way more lost items than registered or eParcel.
Registered Post and eParcel require a signature on delivery whereas Express Post doesn't (Express Platinum however does but costs an arm and a leg).

      • very true, i also meant to say aus post is soooo slow, just my personal experience.

  • Well it's all good news now, the general manager of internet business sent me an email apologizing and informing us that they had already dispatched a replacement, they included pictures of the box in HK including the fed ex sheets on the outside of the box, that was friday evening and today at around 9am the item turned up! Fastest delivery without any doubt I have ever experienced from O/S.

So all is as it should be, need to send a thankyou to the internet business bloke for his intervention this evening.

    good outcome…happy.

    cheers

    • good for you :) i wonder did the gm read this thread.

    • It's great to get a happy outcome. Do you mind updating the title of your thread? For example adding "Resolved" somewhere?

      • Thanks for that Scotty, good idea, done.
