Kogan Support Phone Number

Hi,

I purchased the ASICS Men's Gel-Kayano 26 Running Shoe (Black/Black, Size 10.5 US) from Kogan. The shoes are too narrow and I require a swap for the larger 2E (wide) variant. I have submitted multiple support requests, this is email only. I have not received any responses.
I am unable to find a local phone number to contact Kogan. Do you have any experience with Kogan returns/exchanges? Or know of a local support number?

Cheers.

I had trouble with Kogan, here was a response from ASCICS Direct when I expressed my concerns about Kogan and explaining my sizing issues I had as Kogan were not cooporating. If they don't cooporate bring ACCC into the picture, at that point I received a full refund.

ASICS Oceania Pty Ltd. email response to me.

It took me forever to workout how to get in contact. here is an email for you.. [email protected], you are best to get a ticket raised though first.

    "Hi,
Unfortunately, your purchase from Kogan website is not from one our trusted retailers. Your shoes were parallel imported by someone other than ASICS Oceania and as such are not subject to warranty by ASICS Oceania but under the ACCC rules by the entity who brought them into the country.

Once a seller from a website sells any product they take ownership of the warranty, they often will pass on to us but they know they own the warranty.

Can I suggest you contact this website and advise that you have contacted us and given you this response.

    Kind regards,

    The Claims Team
    ASICS Oceania Pty Ltd"

    • I appreciate your insights thank you. I will follow them up with that email address.

Kogan switched to an online only support model some years ago.
they do not have a support phone number (or anyone aus based as their support centre is overseas)

yet another why you should not deal with Kogan, no mater how cheap the deal i would rather spend two times the amount if it means not dealing with them.

    • Ok, thanks mate.

Lesson 1 - Don't buy from Kogan if you value proper after sales support and service no matter how good their price is. You will always end up spending more in the form of lost productivity, stress associated with back and forth email and follow-ups and video verifications, etc., etc., which would quite easily go on for weeks and months.

Lesson 2 - Avoid buying anything that has the Kogan name on it as it would most definitely be re-branded junk and/or something you could easily find on Aliexpress and other Chinese eCommerce platforms for cheaper(minus the Kogan name).

If you can live with both of the above, educate yourself about their immoral and borderline-illegal trade practices which are well documented here and on other forums and stay away. One classic example: Check their prices of box freezers before and during COVID.

    • Honestly I was ignorant when I made the purchase, these are valuable lessons, Thanks.

  • The shoes are too narrow and I require a swap for the larger 2E (wide) variant

This is a change of mind as you purchased the wrong size.

They won't/don't have to do this.

    So You Have Chosen Death

  • Kogan should have a phone number which is a direct line to Consumer Affairs in each State and Territory.

  • Kogan seems to mention change of mind returns is only applicable to their own Kogan brands. If they weren't going to accept the return one would think they'd at least still respond though. How long ago was the first request made?
