Multiple Woolworths Rewards or Coles flybuys?

I never seem to get any decent bonus offers as i think i shop at both a little too frequently to get any enticements back. I've heard that some people run two cards so they get some bonus offers.

Do you do this and think you get more offers come up? Like you have a main card then maybe once a quarter you throw in the second one?
Would like to know more if this actually works

ok so you have 1 card. you shop you tap and then get offer. you took up the offer once, twice, and then when no offer available, you still go and shopping. flybuys think why should i give you more offer you shop with me anyway. then… no more offers….

so get second card dont tap for a while and flybuys will think oh no I'm losing this customer lets give him/her new attractive offers. and boom you got offers on this second card….

    • looks like i need to go get a second card then

I get more offers from BWS on a fake 20yr old's account than mine or partners..

Flybuys - more offers on the account least used…like mine gets spend $70 for 4 weeks, get 10000 points. The least used gets spend $50 for 4 weeks and get 10000 points..

    • I get more offers from BWS on a fake 20yr old's account

I have noticed this blatant ageism with Flybuys too.

My Mum's Flybuys account gets no offers, despite regular spending.

        regular spending

Don't need offers to encourage spending then..

I'm against multiple cards in the same rewards program, but usually we just switch between Woolies and Coles based on the specials and rewards being offered.

No judgment - but if there is a we, it makes sense to take advantage of multiple cards?

Having multiple cards with woolworths helps.
You definitely receive more offers and also helps to keep your spend target down.

It is in your favor to have more, with 2-3 memberships as common. Pros have 10+.

  • How can you have more than one membership if they are registered to the same address and/or either QFF or Velocity account? Surely Coles or Woolies would smell a rat there?

I understand about family members each having a flybuys card in one household as my partner has one and all the points go to one account.

But can't see how this works with Woolworths Rewards and QFF.

Guess I am missing something here.

    • Unique email address per account and similar details, rotate QFF between accounts to transfer points.

      • wouldn't this give them the avenue to work out that all these accounts you've made belong to the same person?

Dare say they are well aware of people having multiple accounts… you can use the same mobile number across multiple accounts.
Not to mention IP addresses, payment methods, stores visited… wouldn't be that hard to figure out.

My spend remains around $50 and continue to receive multiple offers weekly across the accounts..

          • @randomusername2017: Yes I think so too. Just depends how much they want to spend in wages to track it. Matching data must eventually be considered by a human. I do try to make it difficult for them. I use different mobiles for my flybuys accounts, on Woolworths rewards I use fake ones as you can verify through an email number. I use different CC with Coles online shopping and in store use different GC'c with each account. Also with Woolworths I use different GC's online and in store. I have also managed to usually get $50 spend for 10,000 points for years and sometimes will do 2 at the same time. That offer is the sweet spot, best reward for spend ratio. It's all a game.

            • @Yola: Tbh if I had to go to that much effort the cost/benefit wouldn't stack up
Interesting to note woolworths rewards and their online shopping are completely seperate systems.. only universal identifier is the rewards card number.

              • @randomusername2017: Yes I agree but I am not in paid employment so it's a hobby. Some people do sodukus I do this.

    • Having one household account is counter productive unless you spend very little. Better to have separate accounts and receive twice as many offers. With Flybuys you can redeem when you reach 2000 points.
