Get the Kmart one (if you can find it) for $89

Much cheaper , better reviews, always sold out !

    • I've heard that it's not that good, plus it's small :(

  • Depends on your cooking abilities… This one has the ability to automatically adjust time and temperature to suit..

I have the digital XXL and love it. I love the rose gold coloured trim on this new one, but not enough to fork out $600. You'd be better getting the previous XXL models at a discounted price.

The Philips run at ~2200-2225w, whereas the Kmart one listed above, only runs on 1800w.
Comparing both, is like comparing a Ford with a Rolls Royce.

    Each to their own…

    • This one has the ability to automatically adjust time and temperature to suit..

      It's not very accurate.

Sometimes it suggests 45 minutes for something very simple. I don't trust it.

  • I read on this forum, by someone that has the $599 one, that the automatic time and temperature function doesn't even work and is useless. She said it burns the food or undercooks it. She then got the model just before it and said it works the same, is the same size and doesn't need the auto functions.
So just wanted to check other people's experiences.
Also, auto adjusting time is really silly. Every piece of meat is different and you can't expect a machine to know the exact temperature for every meal!

  • I have this one. I recommend getting the one with the silver handle. I don't see any appreciable difference.
