Is It Still Worth Getting a VPN for US Netflix?

Recently got a VPN for netflix and whenever I switched to the US netflix, it feels like the selection is pretty similar. Feels like there really isn't any shows or movies that aren't already on Australia Netflix?

To the point where I really only know I'm on the US netflix because I can see the "top 10 US shows this week" panel. Plus things are just a little loader to load etc.

Am I just not looking hard enough? Are there any shows that are on an overseas Netflix that aren't on Australian Netflix that would warrant using a VPN these days?

    Keep in mind that Netflix has gotten pretty good at detecting VPN's and unblockers and can prohibit playback when they do. They do have some different selections but in my mind, not enough to warrant messing around trying to resolve that issue when it appears.

      it works with surfshark pretty seaminglessly. The selection just doesn't seem much different that's all.

    I find with Disney+, Binge, AppleTV, and NetFlix, there’s nothing else I really want to watch. IF there is, I just download it

    If you want to check whether Netflix US is working, then you can do a Google Search for "Exclusive to Netflix USA" shows and then check it out for yourself.

    Netflix US is not enough for me, I also use netflix EU and asia (JP and KR). You can search movies on https://unogs.com
    Joker, Black panther, spider man far from home, all the fast and furious (1-8 + hobbs), Logan, Deadpool 2, etc.

    Common knowledge the American catalogue is massive compared to ours.

    I paid peanuts to get a dedicated US IP, and Netflix… Split it 5 ways. Never need to mess with anything.

      What show do you watch on the us site that isn't on the Australian site?

        there's lots, plenty of lists online if you google it.

        breaking bad, the office, etc. lots of cult favourites and more.

      Whats the dedicated usa IP and how much is it and how does it work?

      I was keen on getting USA shudder and amazon prime. There's heaps on there we dont have in Aus and will never get due to stupid licensing.

      I'm new to VPNs and had just read a dns service is better as you can get your full speed
