Hi Ozbargain! Wondering if any of you had experience with leasing appliances i.e. Smartway with JB-HiFi for a year? I'm planning on getting a flat for myself and my partner but we're only going to be staying for a year and going overseas so I wouldn't really need anything permanent until we go back. Is it better to just get something that I pay via a sale and sell it off to Gumtree/Facebook market afterwards?

Did you look for a furnished apartment? That would save you some headaches.
Do the opposite. Buy second hand on GT etc then sell afterwards. It'll be much cheaper.
