OP, so 8% for Everything Else is actually incorrect….can you please update the title since 'everything else' isn't actually true?

    Yay! 1% increase in electronics!

    • Hmm was I mistaken to see that it was 7% previously?

      • Nope, it was 5%

  • Nice one ShopBack. This is what we like to see!!

  • So Laptop is considered as under PC categories? Just want to make sure.

Why are these cashback systems so popular? Wouldnt it be easier for the retailer to offer a discount to buyers?

    • I know nothing about the business model but my guess would be that cashback customers are the product.

      • my guess would be they are using some sort of affiliate program that gets them cash from every sale(like when youtuber's say use out links below) and also marketing data that they can sell eg. how often you buy "WD 10TB Elements Desktop Hard Drive" and how many toilet rolls you buy with it cause of the rona

  • Shopback is getting pretty dodgy. They're not tracking my clicks and their customer service is poor etc.

    I would be careful.

I have had fewer issues with cashrewards.

Mine have all been fine with Shopback. Had a few issues with Cashrewards though

      • And mine have been fine with both.

      • Keep an eye on your clicks in their settings area. They often don't register. Not very good at all.

        • Not really that interested. All my purchases have tracked with Shopback which is better than Cashrewards
