Trouble with Groupon Customer Service

I bought an Artiss motorized standing desk from Groupon a month ago and the package was missing one of the items (transmitting rod) which is needed to adjust the height.

I contacted Groupon customer service on the very first day and they asked me to wait 5-7 business days to solve it.

After the 7 days, I contacted them again and they asked me to provide some photos related to the missing item and I did.

Since then I kept contacting them to get an update. Every time they would say we are very sorry and the issue is elevated and is with the management being processed, please wait 5-7 days!!!!

It's been a month now and I'm very frustrated with them and don't know what to do…
I can't use the table and I don't think I can return it since I assembled everything and only one item is left to complete the installation…
Last time I told them that I am thinking to request for refund and the guy immediately replied " I will now escalate your refund request to the relevant team. Please allow 7 calendar days for us to provide an update." It's like they are copy-pasting this text!!!!

Is there any way I can complain somewhere or do something to push them to fix my problem?

Can I order this rod from somewhere else and get done with it? (I sent an email to Artiss also and asked them for help, they didn't get back to me either).

Don't let it go too long. Your chargeback window of opportunity will soon be gone.

Or maybe that's what they are trying to do with you

    • What can I do? I threw the boxes. Assembled it and waiting for the last piece.

Charge back via your credit card as “not as described”. Job done.

      That's it.

    • When is the deadline for a chargeback?

Today I started a chat with them and they said the merchant requested photos of received items…

I'm thinking to play along to see if they will resolve my problem or not… or shouldn't I?

      • Why?

        • I still have 0.01% hope they send the missing part :/

I had an issue with a Groupon where they changed delivery cost (nearly triple), live chat was short with me and said absolutely no refund but credit only, but I wrote a review on product review and they said they wod resolve it if I sent them an email, managed to get a refund. Not sure if that's the same email you've been contacting, starts with sm.

Groupon a useless. From every side of the fence as a customer or as a merchant, would never touch them again.
