Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Pods 16pk $5ea (Save $3.50) @ Coles

250

$5ea, the cheapest I've seen Dolce Gusto Pods. Previously $6.50 at Coles or Woolworths or various 3 for $20 or so deals on Amazon.

Works out to $0.31 a pod. These are only for Dolce Gusto, not for Nespresso, nor do Nespresso pods fit Dolce Gusto machines.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Cappuccino Capsules 16 pack ($0.31/pod)
Nescafe Dolce Gusto Americano Coffee Capsules 16 Pack ($0.31/pod)
Nescafe Dolce Gusto Cafe Au Lait Coffee Capsules 16 Pack ($0.31/pod)

Starbucks are also at $5ea but they only include 12 pods ($0.41/pod)

Starbucks Nescafe Dolce Gusto Capsules Cappuccino 12 Pack
Starbucks Nescafe Dolce Gusto Capsules Caramel Macchiato 12 Pack
Starbucks Nescafe Dolce Gusto Capsules Espresso Roast 12 Pack
Starbucks Nescafe Dolce Gusto Capsules Espresso Blonde Roast 12 Pack

  • The Starbucks pods are 10 packs

Are you thinking of Starbucks Nespresso pods that come in 10 packs? These are Starbucks Dolce Gusto pods in 12 packs.

    • Not the Dolce Gusto ones, they're 12pc if unflavoured, 6pc if flavoured because 6 are milk

Been enjoying Blonde Espresso but I didn't realise regular Dolce Gusto have 4 more…might grab those again.

EDIT: Dang, Espresso Intenso doesn't count and Americano is trash so I guess I'll stick with the Blonde.

      • Out of interest, are you drinking them as short black? or adding milk?

        • Adding milk. Not sure I'll ever be able to stomach black coffee, sadly.

          • @Selenium: Milk out of the carton or using a frother? Just wondering the best way to do it with Dolce Gusto machines.

I used to drink Americano Intenso then add a dash of milk for a quick/easy coffee, but of course that won't work with espresso pods as you need more than a dash to get a decent sized coffee.

@hamza23: I use a frother I got on special at JB a while back. It's why I started using my capsule machine again actually because I'd stopped.

Handy to add a dash of choc/maple/caramel/whatever to the milk as it's being heated and frothed too.

  • Really good price. Costco has the cappuccino pods for 45c/pod (last time I checked anyway, Nov 2019).
$21.69 for 48 of them. Though you need 2 pods for each serve.

As mentioned in the previous Dolce Gusto post:

Extra info: For those who purchase/use Dolce Gusto, make sure to sign up here where you can recycle your pods.

That sounds so great, but do you know what the manufacturing and recycling carbon footprint is?

    • Whenever you’re ready to post your personal environmental credentials, we’ll be waiting…

They involve basic common sense. The wait is over.

Some of you guys are funny. Like funny-haha-funny. :)
