Extended Warranty for Samsung QLED TV

Hi,
I had ordered a Samsung 65" QLED tv online and found that I can't buy an extended warranty that been offered by outlets like Harvey Norman, JI Bi HiFi.
I was told the warranty for online purchase is in 12 months and I can't buy extended warranty.

Can anyone let me know if we can buy warranty through any third-party or its worth it.

Thanks in advance.

Hope you didn't pay near-OLED prices for an LED. Where did you buy from, is it an Aus retailer?

Not worth extended warranty really. If anything happens to it within reasonable time contact retailer under Consumer Guarentee for a resolution.

Just been through the process with Sony. TV died suddenly after 2 years and 4 months. They're going to replace it with a brand new 2020 model that's larger and higher spec at nearly double the price I originally paid. No complaints.

    • What model did you have and what are you getting?

      • Had a Sony KD-60X6700E purchased direct from Sony in April 2018 for $1,000 during sale.

Getting a KD-65X8000H in 2-7 business days as a free replacement. RRP about $1,700.

  • It was a 65inch q95T about 3k from Samsung website. It was the cheapest amount other retailers.lg Oleds was 4k and above and this was for my hall which was bright and well lit room .
