I can't find a home cd player for MP3 format CDs like single disc audiobooks.
Do they not exist? Can you find one?

If you don't need it right away, check your council clean up for hard rubbish - people can't be bothered to take old players to Vinnies, etc. so they leave it out there.
Also of note, these older 80s/90s boomboxes and mini/midi systems are worth a small fortune on eBay in working condition

CD players haven’t really existed for many years. The only ones I’ve seen are high end ones. I’d get onto gumtree and see if you can grab one that works for $20.
