Myer has 51" Samsung Full HD 3D Plasma PS51D550 for $799 on special until 23 October. Good luck haggling for even better discount and/or warranty. The guy wouldn't throw in warranty for me.

FYI out of box, there is 1 pair of 3D glasses if you were going to use it. Didn't ask him how much extra pair cost cause I wasn't interest. But based on DSE, they're around $150 RRP?

    just ordered mine from Macquarie Myer. $799 with no extras. Tried haggling for the extra 2 year warranty but the force was not strong today. getting it tomorrow.

    Just picked one up from Myer in Bourke St Mall….

    It wasnt on the clearance but since Panasonic dropped their prices on their 50", they ran out and included the Samsung

    Myer Toowoomba had it marked at $799 but no stock (2 days to order in). Shitty phone pic of special below. JB Hifi price matched and had stock, and also had extra glasses for $46 each.

    Bought one at Myer Perth City for $799 - no stock till 27th Oct - I'm happy to wait though :)

    Side note - it still scanned at $999, she had to manually override the price..

    Went to Macquarie Myer today and they still have it for $799 but I was a bit put off by it. I felt the screen and the back and it was VERY warm, felt a Sony LED and it was not warm in the slightest. I think it will heat up a small room very effectively, which is not so nice in summer..

    I dont have an aircon so not sure this TV will be such a great buy anymore. Might have to go for a 42" LG LED or something.

      they should be honouring the price. Macquarie myer had the TV marked at $999 but all around the TV section they had big banners advertising the specials in red, and it was listed there for $799.

    just a heads up for anyone wanting to transport this with their car. It has to be transported standing up. I wasn't aware of this and had to get alternate transport! Set it up last night and very happy with it. $799 at Macquarie Myer… the sales person said Samsung put up the price, and he was right. Samsung Aust website now listing it as $1599! was $1199 just a few days ago.

      thats dodgy, putting up the price like that..

      I would not pay anymore than $799 now anyway because after comparing to other TV's this one was way too hot.

    Went today, said that there's only 18 left across Oz, not acutally in stock in melb though, can preorder and pick it on tuesday. My friend and myself went to JB HiFi in Knox City and bought 2 for $799 each, they apparently have a large ammount of stock and price matched it the moment I asked.
