Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Vs AirPods/Pro Vs Something Else

Hi Guys

Looking to use some of your experiences here. Which one do you think is better. Also any other brand you think is much better than these 2?

Also any current offers for samsung with the partnership program?

Thank you All

Airpods 2 for me, i can't stand the little rubber tips come with samsung buds or airpods pro, they feel suffercating to me, and hurt my ear canals after long time use.

  • I’ve looked long and hard around this and haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but I have come to the conclusion that, if money is not an object, the AirPod pros are your pick.

My needs may be different to you though:
    - must provide some noise minimisation for mowing lawns/ gym etc.
    - easiest to use (Apple ecosystem)
    - decent battery life

My only issue is that they will likely only last 2 years until you need to replace due to the battery.

You might be able to get Apple care to replace them when the battery degrades? I’m not sure.

The Galaxy buds plus are always reviewed as the Toyota Camry of earbuds - they do everything very well but don’t shine out in any particular way.

  • Having recently bought the Apples AirPod Pro, I have to say they’re completely worth it: sound quality is amazing, noise cancellation is perfect.

My dB exposure has halved from 70-100 to 30-50.

My friend has a Samsung with the apple AirPods and love them!

  • The Samsung Galaxy Buds + don't offer noise cancellation so they're not really comparable to the Airpods Pro.
Also while they offer ear detection, there is no auto-resume feature.
They do have longer battery life though.

Depends on what features you want and what you'd like to spend. Things like ANC (Active noise cancellation), battery, decent sound, fit & feel, quality microphone performance when taking calls etc

If your an iPhone user, the Airpods pro integrate well as you'd expect from the Apple ecosystem. But they are also marginally more pricey compared to the Buds+, which you can get under $180.

If money is not an issue, the Sennheiser Momentum 2's are some of the best sounding true wireless earbuds I've owned. They are pricey though.

    • But how are Sennheiser Momentum 2's in other categories (noise cancellation, battery, fit & feel, microphone performance when taking calls etc)?

  • I'm holding off to see what the galaxy buds live are like. Out next month according to rumours and expected to have active noise cancellation.

I have both Galaxy Buds Plus & Jaybird Vista. Both very good.

Jaybird is a very good fit, perfect for gym… Running etc.. Waterproof too.

Buds Plus are not waterproof, fit very well, sound good.

If I had to choose between them. Jaybirds for the waterproofness.
