Last Samsung Software Update on S10e

I did an update yesterday morning (July 16) and there's been cache problems and I can't log into Google. I've cleared caches in apps and on the phone and reinstalled Google but the problem still persists.

Do you have any suggestions on what to try before a factory reset?

Cheers

  • I am guessing yours is a grey import given the date of the firmware update (Australian S10e s were updated earlier in the month), if not, and you aren't afraid of braving the Outside, then just take it into a Samsung booth.

If you believe it is a firmware issue, my only suggestion is to flash it again. I have used sammobile in the past for my S7 with zero issues, they have all the tools and instructions for you.

I would suggest downloading an identifier app such as the sammobile or phone info app to ensure you download the right firmware for your model/device.

However, from past experience, this problem persists :( Even if this manual update fixes the issue this time, you will probably have to manually update future firmwares.

    • Not enough space to automatically update and I didn't see message until later.

      • Glad to hear that it worked out!

        • Sorry, reply wasn't clear. Late update was due to not space. Doing complete back up of everything now.

  • Did you wipe the system cache?

Other than that I have no further suggestions, sorry :(

    • Yes.

  • probably best to do backup, then reset the phone.

  • Yeah had that same update earlier this month, broke my google related crap.
Problem fixed itself after some weeks 🤷‍♂️
