Question about upgrading Xbox Live to Game Pass Ultimate for $1

Hi, I just bought 2 years Live via Brazil and have successfully added to my account

Now I would like to upgrade to GPU for $1. I have selected option, however get the message

Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass membership(s) into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of time, up to a total of 36 months. All conversions are final;

but then I get this

Ultimate 1-Month
AU$1.00 including tax for the first month
AU$15.95 including tax every month after that
By selecting Subscribe, you agree to the Store terms of sale. We'll charge you AU$1.00 including tax for the first month and AU$15.95 including tax every month after that. You'll be notified before any price….

This worries me, can I ignore this message?? Or have they change it so that i won't get my whole 24 months upgraded for $1 anymore??

    I think you can ignore it. I upgraded last week with the Brazil Live Gold method and it went smoothly. Got 27 months ultimate.

        It was my first time upgrading but I had Ultimate previously, so I paid full price rather than $1.

    That looks like the usual notification, so you'll be fine.

    The conversion won't be visible until after you upgrade; you can check by looking at your account (can't remember which page sorry)

    Went ahead and did it. Next payment due August 2022!.
    That is a misleading message.
