Shouldn’t you have asked that question before hitting pay? Now negging deal for your own doing?

  • I missed out on the cashrewards 20% cash back on Catch because it wouldn’t let me log onto Zip.. hoping there’s another before July 31st.
    FYI.. automatically applied.

you practically apply for a $1000 loan.

This will effect your credit score.

    • if one repays loans in a timely manner, does this not effect your credit score in a positive way?

that was how I thought it.. but my days of caring about such things are long gone though anyway 😐

Credit scores are weird. I don't understand them well enough so take this with a grain of salt, but it seems like 'credit enquiries' tend to have a negative impact on your score.

Simply signing up to a SIM only telstra plan at JB almost two years ago is considered a credit issue according to my NAB credit check. Wild. I was planning to port my number to voda for a month and get a gift card but honestly the way it has slapped my credit score I am staying put.

Makes no sense. Not going near this one. And I really, really like cheap booze.

      • anytime you apply or make enquiries for credit (loan, phone contract, car ,credit card….) it will appear in your credit history. The more you have the less credit rating score you get. Doesn't matter whether you make repayment on time or not. Banks are often base on your credit score to approve or decline your credit application(also factor in your repayment capacity)

If you have a few of these no interest loan like this zippay on your credit file, it is likely that your credit application will be rejected. (unless you have really high income but if that's the case you wouldnt need these loan).
