I've been to Downtown Mumbai in Victoria AKA Tarneit. Door knock and ask people who built their house. Ask the developers in the area.

My mate got his house built in Tarneit after asking one of the contractors who was building the house next door.

        Positive for same comment.

      • Hey man, they make good Indian food there.

It's not the only place that does, it's also not the only place Indian-origin people live, and it's not a place where only Indian-origin people live.

Don't think he said that. Why so upset?

    • Thanks

  • Metricon?

  • Indecent house sounds more raunchy

    • Gosh they are ugly. But you are right in that they are cheap.

  • I really don't get the attraction to Tarneit. I'm sure it'll be the new Caroline Springs in 30 years. But who has that amount of time to wait?

Seriously I'd rather live in North Geelong and commute from there.

    • Who wants to live in Caroline Springs today though?

      • Plenty of people apparently.

  • Consider this. It could easily apply for anywhere in Australia.

As for Tarneit, it's already overdeveloped and it attracts a very niche demographic.

  • I'd sell the block (if you can), save your cash and then buy a place in Tarneit outright in 12 months time.

  • Granny flat??

  • Give him a break! Everyone needs to start from somewhere. Good on the OP for buying an investment property, how many of you even pay your bills on time? Chill out guys!
