Recommend Me an Affordable, Executive Looking A4 Day to a Page Diary

Hi all

Starting a new job. Looking for a new diary. I plan to use it to take notes in daily meetings etc.

Hoping for a nice day to a page, A4 size that won't break the bank, still looks nice enough to carry it around in a professional setting, is durable enough to not crease and rip etc by the end of the year.

I'm conscious about it because it's a career upgrade for me to a more senior position than im used to. It's the Social norm to carry a diary around. I was thinking a stock standard Collins one but would love other recommendations.

Thanks

Choose a Moleskine that meets your needs.

Goto officeworks and check out the sale basket

Maybe not the right time….but if u go around Feb or March there's plenty of very decent looking diaries they try to get rid of

iPad/Surface Pro would be your ideal choice. Take notes, organise diary, scribble meeting minutes, thoughts, ideas, pick-up e-mail etc etc.

  • I like Whitelines. Just seems easier on the eyes, although I don't take advantage of its scanning features.

  • I'm not sure I understand the use case.

Calendar will be online as people need to see your availability and it's really the superior way of managing your day (shuffling meetings, rooms, etc).

A day to a page. Unless your handwriting is microscopic that will be filled up by lunch time.

Or is the plan to just use it to plan out your key tasks for the day?

  • Every exec I know has a PA, and a smartphone/tablet.
