Recommend Micro SD Card for Reolink Argus 2

I would like to buy MicroSD card for Reolink Argus 2. On the website, it says “Reolink cameras support the TF type SD, SDHX, SDHC micro SD card.”, but the 64gb is only in SDXC like this

What kind of microSD card do you use for Argus 2? Any recommendations? Thank you in advance

  • Don't need anything special. If you want a card that can last for longer in terms of write cycles, buy one of the Sandisk high Endurance cards which are optimised for things like dashcams and IP cameras.

    • I’m just worried about Argus 2 doesn’t support SDXC

    i bought these for my 2 x Argus 2's (32GB cards).. got them on sale for $20.90

    • How long can the 32Gb card record?

      • well, its only 6.54gb of space used since i put them in (which was in end of April). You've also got the 1GB of free cloud storage

  • Looking to buy one for the Argus 2 aswell and from my understanding and the link here;

    It seems that it requires a FAT32 format which is how SDHC's are formatted. The SDXC are formatted as exFAT. I could be wrong but I don't think there was ever 64GB in SDHC, so I am not sure why their website shows you can use up to 64GB?

    I bought a 64gb SDXC for my Nintendo Switch but it required a system update to work. I don't know if the Argus will be able to format or update it like that on its own.

    I go off this website for speed tests and SD card info;

    The Sandisk Ultra which is a commonly sold card actually has terrible write speeds, hence why it doesn't clearly show it in their specs and only talks about transfer speeds.
