Whats The Difference between These Two Monitors?

Needing to purchase a monitor locally that was in stock and was browsing these two.

Does the specs of the higher priced one justify purchasing it over the lower spec'd one?

I'm looking for a monitor that is not for gaming but primary for work (documents).

Mostly the look with the pricier ones having Freesync and slightly higher brightness.

Wouldn't recommend either as they're VA panels. I would suggest trying to find a suitable IPS one. VX3276-2K is recommended. The higher resolution helps a lot on 32 inch size for spreadsheets and word docs.

      It's black and white.

  • It seems worth it. 75hz is a nice bump up for general use.

With that being said, I'd be looking to bump it up to 1440P at this screen size. FHD/1080P will look a bit pokey at 32".

      • Anything you can recommend? 1440P at this size bumps the price up considerably, otherwise I could drop down to a 27" for around the same price (would a drop in size be noticeable?)

I think 27" 1440P IPS is pretty great, but if you do want that size up, maybe something from AOC or similar would be suitable: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AOC-Q32V3-WS-32-QHD-Gaming-Monit…

You can also still pick up the old Korean 27" 1440P monitors (QNIX, Yamakasi, etc.) for <$100 used off Gumtree if you keep an eye out. Most of them used a B grade of the iMac panel at the time. My partner uses one, and it's still holding up great.
