    I was listening to a podcast the other day and they had the inventor of the N 95 mask on. He’d been asked to find a way to reuse these masks and his suggestion was get seven and use them each day of the week and then hang them to dry somewhere and then use number one again at the start of the next week.

    Thought wasn’t a bad option.

        Moist heat ie a bowl of water in a hot oven is probably the easiest unless you have a ultraviolet light for some weird reason.

        Alternatively, hanging for 5 days between uses in the sun would do fine.

          There's a study that shows UV light from the sun kills the coronavirus in minutes (20 maybe). Going from memory, I'll try to dig up the link.

        Yeah he mentioned that too, but they implied that would be more difficult, and ideally they had to hang in the oven, not sit, and I think they had to be in for at least 20 min.

    Chemist Warehouse is selling Made in Japan N95 disposable masks. Very few stores got stock. 135 dollars for 30 pack. I purchased from Varsility Lakes, QLD. 5 more boxes left on the shelf.

    It's a 2020 company with a dodgy CE certificate made by the famous ECM. It's also one of the cheapest KN95 on alibaba (below US$0.3)

    I’d recommend that all KN 95 masks are checked for authenticity. Most don’t require independent certification. While they’re probably better than nothing, you’d have to wonder why they still are available in Australia.
