    From where ?

      To be honest I don't think it really matters. Ppl flocked to by the bonds masks but they were made in china and offer no additional protection to generic masks

        To be honest I don't think it really matters.

        On the contrary, some people may not want to support the economies of certain countries and would like to make an informed choice.

            @51ngh: Hi frank.

            I bought local ones from someone in our neighbourhood.

            • @jv: Did you post the deal?

              @jv: Hi jv,
              We are not talking about buying locally
              We’re talking about the origin of the masks.

    50 pieces usually go for less than $20
    Unless you have to buy here and now, wait for a proper bargain to come up

    Features earloops, easy to wear and take off

    As opposed to no ear loops?

    • +2

      Aren't there ene loops?

    • Ear loops suck if you’re wearing them for a long time.

      • only if you have big ears.

  • Do they meet any of the following standards? If so, which category or level do are they rated for?
    - AS4381
    - ASTM F2100
    - EN14683

    If they do not meet any of the aforementioned standards, they should not be considered as surgical masks and are only as good as any other disposable face coverings.

    Looks like a good deal. I paid $50 for 50 yesterday.

  • I caved in and bought a 10pk for $10 at Bunnings. $1 per mask isn't my proudest moment but at least it was available immediately and they seem well enough made.
    To those that say "50 pieces for $20 come up regularly" sure but reviews often say that half the ear loops snap trying to put them on. Combined with waiting for delivery for them and their fail rate I'm not sure I'd bother?

      There's no indication that these masks aren't from the exact same batch as the better priced ones.

      Also, I've bought from a couple of the MUCH cheaper deals than this one, and complaints of poor quality are greatly exaggerated.

      Fact of the matter is, unless you have the masks in front of you and you can test them yourself, every no-brand mail-order delivery mask package is fundamentally the same.

      Check these guys' ABN if you want to have a dig.

        Yeah exactly as I said.
        I paid for the convenience of being able to pick up a pack for use that day.
        The Bunnings ones at least conform to a few standards.
        I think you've got the wrong idea, I'm certainly not recommending the 2*50 pack. In fact, I don't know if I could even recommend the 10 pack. I just got what was convenient for me.

        • I think there might be a miscommunication/understanding!

          I understood your comment as an endorsement of buying these overpriced masks, because the better priced ones had some overblown quality complaints.

            @yomn: Yeah I figured! I said from the mask I had tried from Bunnings that it was actually an acceptable quality ($1/mask) rather than the no name packs like this where half of them may break - what seems cheaper at first might not end up being any cheaper!
