Can We Get a Blocked Categories/Subcategories/Tags List?

I notice we can block by user, by store, and it looks like we can deprioritise by category as well as by title tag, but it looks like we can't block tags, categories, or deprioritise/block subcategories.

Would it be possible to have a list of blocked categories, subcategories, and maybe tags? That way we could choose not to see for example dining and takeaway if we're trying to eat healthy (or even better, could see dining and takeaway but not pizza or fast food!) Blocking tags means we could then filter out all those Surgical Mask posts that seem to be coming in at four a day.

    You could block categories but you can’t really block tags as the tags are usually added on my mods/power users since people don’t bother to add them.

      That shouldn't really be an issue though, filtering is done at display time not at publish time. So if a tag is added later, and it's in your hypothetical block list, then it would stop appearing for you.

    Keywords would be easier. So of it appears anywhere in the main post you don't see it.

    Then I could get rid of all the star wars and lego garbage that pops up every day.

      I can understand why they don't support that - query performance would suffer big time, and the site would really buckle under the load. Categories and tags though are indexed things that shouldn't be too painful to add to a NOT IN clause.

    Is there currently an option to subscribe to tags? For instance, I want to subscribe to "LCD Monitor" but not Computing, and search notifications don't appear to function the same?

    I'd love to be able to block Alcohol deals.

      My Account > Settings > Edit > Deals > General > I want to include Deals For Selected Categories > Tick every category apart from alcohol.

    Some tags for some items previously mentioned that you might like to block from your new deals page:

    Surgical Mask
    Cloth Face Mask
    Toilet Paper
    LEGO
