Question about Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

So I just purchased one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1, but now I've discovered that theres a method wherein you purchase Xbox Live Gold Brazil from CDKeys, and then upgrade to ultimate to make it cheaper.

I'm wondering if this method will still be possible after my $1 month ends? Or if I won't be able to use this method to stack 2+ years of Ultimate for cheap since I just purchased the $1 month. I've already cancelled recurring payments for the month. Is there any way to get some form of Game Pass Ultimate deal after the $1 month?

    You purchase Brazilian Xbox Gold codes from CDKeys and then upgrade to Ultimate Game Pass with the $1 deal, but I'm not sure if I can do that now. Would love help from someone whose familiar with it

      I think you can still do it but it will cost 5 dollars now? or something since you cant use the 1 offer? have you tried to do this yet?

  How tied to your account are you? I ended up just creating a new xbox live account just for brazil and use that. Keeps it separate. I imagine if you have that account plus your primary on the xbox you can play the games with either account? (I assume that's the case, have not checked if it's true)

  I stacked three of these:

  as I couldn't get the brazil store to take my credit card for the $1 one month game pass. But that worked fine and was still a lot cheaper than local.

  Apparently they have recently taken the 12 month xbox live codes off the Microsoft store so I reckon it's only a matter of time before they switch over to only gamepass and this trick doesn't work anymore.

  I had previously used the $1 Game Pass promo several times, and was still able to do the Brazil live gold > convert to Game Pass method recently.

  Just wait til your current subscription expires first.

    So essentially I buy lets say 24 months total of brazilian live gold codes, then the upgrade to gamepass is $1 so I’d get 2 years of gamepass ultimate for like $90?

      If you've already upgraded with the $1 promo, you might need to pay $15.95 when you next upgrade. I did.

      But yeah, I got 27 months for a little over $100. Approx $3.70 p/m for Ultimate. Bargain.
