Product description
You can meet and recruit Pokémon in a dungeon-crawling adventure within their world! Build a rescue team to take on mysterious, changing dungeons and strategically plan your moves as you venture forth to make the Pokémon world a safer place and uncover your true purpose along the way. As you recruit Pokémon, these trusty teammates will need somewhere to stay, so build camps to house, manage, and strengthen your Pokémon friends. Think hard about who is right for the job and how to approach each mysterious dungeon as you prepare a rescue team. You’ll move a single square at a time or use Auto mode to speed up movement until you engage other Pokémon in turn-based battles—but don’t forget about Pokémon strengths and weaknesses! This version adds gorgeous watercolor-inspired graphics, and more! Get comfortable in being a Pokémon, there’s a lot of work to do.

A remake of the 2005 video games Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team.

The game features a new painterly-esque art style and includes new features not seen in the originals such as Mega Evolution, autosave, and auto-mode.

As you recruit Pokémon, these trusty teammates will need somewhere to stay, so build camps to house, manage, and strengthen your Pokémon friends.

I feel that this is a bit misleading. Unless they added a new feature from the original game there's not really any "base-building" like "so build camps to house, manage, and strengthen…" would imply. IIRC you just capture the diff Pokemon, send them on quests, outside of your usual procedural turn-based RPG dungeon crawler, right?

It's still a great game, regardless. Good for mindless fun.

  • Disappointing game, at $29 I might bite.

    • A Nintendo game dropping to $29? Yeah, right.

      • Well, if I got Hyrule Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for $30 each, one can dream!

  • is this worth getting guys? also better with digital or physical copy?

  • Thanks op! Been waiting for a sale on this bad boy
