I usually use hard muk which was bought from ebay so I have never really pay attention to these hair product stores. I just searched in the store location which is not in my nearby shopping center :)
What is your favourite hair products? I have used countless products. I found the hard muk is pretty good. The American crew fiber is a bit of soft.
All depends on hair type and style you're aiming for. Go to reddit / pomade. General rule is to stay away from the big brands (such as american crew).. there's far better products out there

Big brands (usually & there are some exceptions) cloak their quality with heavy marketing and the quality of ingredients is below par.
The home brewed and smaller companies typically have far superior products. E.g Odouds / Northern Lights / Templeton / Arcadian - your average person doesn't know them but there's a reason why they're so highly regarded on the forums where people are obsessed over their product selection.@3liminate: For the price of $30 gives two fibers and two shampoo, I consider that it's a very good deal. American crew is still a reputable brand in my view. However, it all depends on price at the end.
@3liminate: You can spend all you want with heavy marketing but if your products don't hold up, you will still end up at bottom.
Personally I won't spend $30 for a hair style product, its over price regardless what brand it is. But at less than $10 a pop like this deal, it's the same price as any other at the supermarket. I will gladly pay for it.
