Android Email App That Can Delay Send

In the old dial up days, email don't get send after a few minutes. Allowing myself to cancel if I forgot something.

If you don't know, this feature available in Outlook, by setting a rule to send all emails after X minutes. See: https://hbr.org/2015/07/prevent-email-horror-with-a-2-minute…

But since I do my mails in my mobile, I needed this badly. Google didn't return anything I am looking for.

While the Gmail app may be able to do this for a few seconds, I need it for at least 2 mins.

I usually send email in one fluid action, type, press send, quit the app. And then oopps…

    Gmail does it.

    • Too short… I need at least 2 mins. Also should stay unsend even if I exit the app.

Think about it, when we send email and press send, immediately we press back, or home, in one fluid action. Then suddenly I realised ooppsss, should have add this or that…

      • Ive just checked the app and I can schedule to whatever time I want. Nothing about under 2 minutes

  • Gmail and outlook apps on android do this. Google 'delayed delivery for gmail/outlook app'

    • This is outlook website not app right?

  • Just draft it

    • Draft it? Don't send it? What if I forget?

      • Forget?
You said you need at least two minutes in case you didn't include info you should've.

Surely you can't forget about the email that you only wrote two minutes ago?

        • Thanks for the suggestion, anyway it is just not what I want.

I can't explain why, but it is very different to what I need.
