The plans they had for it makes it more devastating.
Recommend people try to get a key to the standard edition or just pirate it.
Definitive edition was a downgrade.This game is on sale every other week lol, but it’s so good I’ll always upvote it. Great main story that you can finish in an evening or two, and loads of side content if you want the experience to last a bit longer.
Remember if you get a crash at the start you need to block it on your firewall or turnoff the online features. (Square shutdown the servers long ago i think and since then it will force crash the game everytime it tries to connect.)
I wish Ubisoft used this game as a blueprint on how to make an involved story that contains repeatable content and explorative world.
Less of walking simulators and more pursuits, and story telling through imagery and events rather than plain dialogue.
Just one decent coffe price, I bought it.
I've been trying to decide between this game or Yakuza 0 (https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/yakuza-0). I love Yakuza's previous game's action but prefer Hong Kong's GTA feel, city/environment and pork buns! Decisions, decisions!!!
Or get both for less than $10
Still sad they never made a proper sequel
