The one month supply (216 nappies) for newborn is equivalent and just chose that option.
Also curash wet wipes are an amazing price if anyone wants to use that brand.

      Thanks mate, got both!!

  • Thanks JV

  • Costco has 224 nappies size 1 for $44.49 from tomorrow.

    • Still cheaper from amazon with S&S

    • Cheaper at Amazon and Covid free

  • Is this a really good deal or just best at the moment? I haven’t bought Huggies in a while since I moved to rascal and friends but am thinking of having some extras.

    • +1

for size 1 this is the standard sale price, usually similar price in the "month supply" box 216 for $48 on sale. The other sizes aren't as heavily discounted as size 1 here.

Its a good deal, just click on camel camel camel to see price history. Having said that if you havnt tried Aldi's Mamia brand nappies do it, I personally believe they are better, and definitely a much better price. I used to pick Huggies up when they were on special, but Aldi's nappies have improved big time and I prefer them now, better fit and less bulky.

    • +1

We like the Mamia’s, we do find though the huggies seem to be a little more absorbent so we use a huggies for night sleep and Mamia all other times. The other added benefit beside the cost is the Mamia ultra dry are made in Australia , the huggies are made in China

    • I tried US brand Pampers via Amazon and I’m a big fan. Generally quite cost effective/competitive

  • Same version as Coles woollies ?

    • some amazon reviews suggest these are of inferior quality to the ones sold in Coles/Woolies…

      • +3

Think they are all the same, but Huggies are made in China now so I’d suggest those reviews are from people who had bought the final run of Australian made Huggies in Coles and Woolies and Amazon had the new Chinese ones. The Chinese ones are inferior to the Australian ones.

  • Remember to stop S&S, as a baby grows out of their nappy size very quickly and you don't need any extras at a smaller size. You can buy larger size in advance tho.

You need a larger (not oversize) nappy as the baby grows to handle a larger "payload", sometimes that is not even enough!

    • Can you cancel S&S immediately after ordering?

  • +1

I wouldn't recommend the size 5. They changed it (see the Amazon image) and it's absolute rubbish now. Very disappointing.

  • +3

If this is the new version made overseas. Please do yourself a favour stay away

    • +2

I believe they are no longer made in Oz. Even the Costco ones are made in China.

      • +3

Yeah don't get them plenty of reports of rashes and bad quality from mums all over it

Don't support a company who doesn't support local jobs.

        I rather Aldi

  • What is the best way to go about using shop and save? From my understanding the prices fluctuate but you always get the 10-15% discount, so the best thing to do is to order more when the price is cheap and then less when the prices goes back up?

  • Aldi nappies are the best, but newborn nappies you seem to have peace of mind having Huggies. Huggies definitely have the best newborn nappies, companies spend millions on development to lure customers into brand loyalty.

So buy Huggies newborn size 1 then switch to aldi. Will save you $$$$.

I bought 4 boxes which should last till size 2 then will be moving to Aldi.

  • I can't find sub & save option. It's showing me $24 for size 5.

    • Same here

I think it's because they're low in stock of size 5. If you switch to size 4 you'll notice the subscribe and save reappears

  • Are the Huggies Newborns still good after moving to China production? Or is it the larger sizes that aren't as good?
Have a new one on the way in a few months and the old Aussie ones were fantastic first time around.

    • +1

We're just about to move out of the newborn ones (Size 1) in the next few weeks. Have used them for nearly 8 weeks and had almost no issues with them outside of operator error (one must always point the willy down!)

Trialling a box of the Size 2 on this deal to see how they go.

      • Cheers. I swore by the Ultimate Newborns ones before when they were still Aussie made

Currently using Size 4 Rascal and Friends nappy pants - bit bigger than the Babylove, but also more absorbent it seems maybe due to being slightly bigger.

        • Only Aussie made huggies are the best.

I'm considering saving some for antique purpose

      • My son is on size 2s now, had a box of huggies but have been using the mamia brand from Aldi. I've been really happy, he fills it up overnight and no leaks.

  • have been using the Huggies Essentials Size 3. been pretty good i would say.

its time for a nappy upgrade.
