Hi guys, was in Broadway shopping centre (Sydney) Harvey Norman looking for a chest freezer due to the worsening conditions in Victoria and came across this electric tooth brush deal. They had a whole basket of this.

The battery on this is NiMH, yet it doesn't last very long. We decommissioned one of these within about 2 years, because it wouldn't hold much charge. Invested in a model with Lithium battery and use it on sensitive mode with a "stages" brush head. I think that is okay for any kid from around 7 year old, and achieves better results; dentist is very happy.
Given that cost of dental treatment, I strongly recommend investing in high-end toothbrushes that maintain a high RPM for more than 1-2 days after charging.

Agreed. Ours has just stopped charging at about 12 months. The metal shaft the toothbrush head sits on went rusty after a few months too.
How long do you need to defrost the frozen ones before using..?
