I just bought a GC for SGH for 9% off to use but theres an error saying I need 17 digits when there is only 16 digits? Even their tool tip is saying enter 16 digits. I'm confused!
You using Amex?
I think they're referring to the Sunglass Hut gift card, not Amex (which is 15 digits)
I had this issue once. Bought the gift card from Macquarie, but it is only for use IN STORE, not online.
Check the terms and conditions of the card. I think only ones bought direct from Sunglass Hut can be used online.
I was lucky that the Macquarie terms and conditions link didn't open so they gave me a refund.
You are right, terms do say not online. Weird that even the tooltip says you can use a 16 digit card though!
@mysticturtle: Weird in 2020 that a gift card can't be used online too.
If you buy card direct form SGH you can use it online which might explain the tooltip?
