The terms and conditions for this are super confusing. I believe the online entry to the mailing list comes under s.7(c) as an electronic communication by the promoter. Joining the mailing list doesn't seem to attract the fee that a membership does. It makes sense then that they're trying to entice people to join by giving new members 9 entries and mailing list subscribers only 1.
However, s.16 states that entries only meet the entry criteria when payment is received and not on transmission… without stating how mailing list entries are accepted. :/
Looks like a pathetic phishing scam at the least and an utter con job to suckers at worst.
You have to pay the $50 membership fee for your entry to be valid?:
