  Yeah designs are fairly average - better to sort AliExpress by low to high and get the cheapest thing that has a design you like, should average around $3 per pair depending on exchange rate on the day

    Yeah I bought a set from AliExpress and they've been great. They're basically Happy Sock knockoffs but the designs and quality are good.

      I got a few straight up, waited for them to arrive, and assessed the quality. You can tell some have a higher polyester content (avoid) and some are too small despite being mens one size fits all (avoid). After that, go to the listing of the good ones and get different designs from them. Takes a while but you get a good set eventually.
