Sofa for my lounge

Hi All

I just returned my Vimle Sofa from IKEA.
I spent just a little over $1800 inc delivery and spent half a day trying to put it together, only to be left disappointed and annoyed.
I got so annoyed I ended up ringing them and telling them how:
1x Chaise had a damaged frame (probably the delivery guys)
1x Chaise had an unfinished velcro strip which holds the fabric over the frame
1x Side arm that had a puncture in the padding

It was just too hard by then and I had enough.
I'm back out to look for another sofa for my lounge.
I have a wide lounge (5.5m) and my Vimle was 4m long with 2x chaise (one on each end) and 3 seats in the middle.
Can anyone please give some recommendations of where to go?
After this experience, I don't mind spending more than $1800 but probably not more than $3000 for something that will just turn up, require no assembly and not be damaged or half built from the factory.

Help please?

If you were in Perth would say Nick Scali, did cost a couple of grand though, was one of the better quality couches out there (given it's going to last 10-20 years i thought it was worth the investment).

    But yeah, the Freedom sale?

  • I got my fabric couches from Focus On a few years ago and was happy with the price and quality.

This sounds similar to the size and style you're after.
