Which Websites Are The Best to Sell Things?

Hi, might be a really silly question here but I'm new to this. I have got a couple of new clothes/jackets that I'm thinking of selling. Which websites do you guys recommend that I should use? Thanks!

      OP is in Melbourne- wouldn't recommend meeting in a public place with the current restrictions in place (unless both parties are within 5km of their residences).

      Why are people so obsessed about public places?
      If someone selling something said they would only meet at a public place I’d think they were dodgy selling stolen shit

        I'd rather not be kidnapped or a stranger knowing where I live.

        Being in a public place with security cameras and having other people around sort of makes sure that doesn't happen… as easily…

        Just my thoughts/opinions

          I’d never buy from someone in a public place that’s just me. I’ve sold dozens of things from my home address without issue and I will continue to do so.

          No idea why public space is being downvoted. Definitely public and not at home when selling things.

          Allowing a stranger to know your address is definitely a terrible idea. You never know what kind of dodgy seller is on the other side and you never know when you get one that harrasses you because they didn't want the item a few days for some reason after paying for it.

          Just because OP is in Melbourne doesn't mean he/she can't wait till things settle. And how is seller going to OP house essential?

        Because there's ample light, cameras (in shopping centres, etc.) and people around to deter potential mishaps. It's certainly better than meeting them at their residence, where possible.

        But, each to their own.

    eBay or Depop is pretty good for shipping items. You mentioned they're new clothes, so you'd probably get more money on eBay than Gumtree/ Facebook Marketplace. But take into account that eBay charges you a fee per item.
