Anyone Know if Tronsmart UC5F Desktop USB Charger Is Regulated? (to Use with Raspberry Pi 4)

Hi, does anyone know if the Tronsmart UC5F is a regulated power supply?
Tronsmart have removed info from their site about this unit, I've emailed them but not sure what their customer service is like.

I've read that you can power a Raspberry Pi 4 with as low as 5V 2A if you have no peripherals connected. Though you need to ensure the PSU is regulated at that level.
I'm running mine as a server and connecting via SSH. WiFi disabled, no peripherals, I can turn off BT as well.

You should be fine. The Tronsmart can do DC 5V/2A for non-QC devices, which the RP4 is.

  • After some time, Tronsmart replied and confirmed it is a regulated power supply.
This is great, it can power 5 headless Raspberry Pi 4s!
