Anyone know what the difference is? I only ask because I ordered a bag of classic but they sent me 'premium' instead? Wondering if I should bother to return it.

Usually higher quality longer grain rice and/or fortified with micronutrients. Either case, no reason to return.
Classic is wayy nicer than premium. Classic is also more expensive than premium. I think you got shortchanged, ask them for the right delivery.

Why would you want to pay OP, none of this was your fault! Since it was a stuff up by the retailer, they should cover the cost of their mistake.

Anyway, just heard back from the seller and they are going to send out the right stuff with a return label for the wrong one so all is good in the world again. :)

I can never get my water ratio right with India gate and I don't know why
Basmati rice takes less water (nearly half other varieties). Try it a couple of times to workout what works best with your setup.
I just saw India gate exotic yesterday at Woolworths and had never seen it before.
premium is better quality. more aged.
