Online raffle platforms suggestions

Hi,

I am part of a kids-focused not-for-profit organisation. We want to do a Father's day raffle. Being in stage 4 lockdown in Vic, our only option is to do it online, which we think will work really well but is also something, we have no experience with. We are looking at a small scale fundraiser for maybe a max $2000 (ticket sales) and approximately $500 in prizes.

I can see plenty of Australian raffle platforms but would prefer if someone can recommend one they have used - either to buy tickets from or to fundraise. And also share any useful tips, if you have any.

Thanks!

  • Are you registered with the right authorities? Raffles are illegal unless you fulfil certain conditions and have a license

    • Depends on the amount and state. No permit is needed if it's under $5K in Vic. And yes, we are DGR status charity organisation.

  • For fundraising try Play For Purpose. I think anyone can register and you get $5 per ticket. I am on autoplay for Orange Sky Laundry
