Visa Gift Card

Hi guys
My good friend will be getting married soon but given the travel restriction I won't be there in person. I do want to send him a visa gift card but not too sure which site is the most secure way to do this.

Googled and saw this site called the gift card store but upon checking reviews online it's quite dodgy as in postage takes ages and not many places accept their visa card (can't tap or swipe apparently).

Can someone please suggest me a site to purchase the card?

Thanks

Edit: thanks everyone might just do bank to bank transfer at this stage!

Australia Post have VISA gift cards you can load money onto.

Probably easier to give them Amazon gift cards in their Country of origin. VISA gift cards always cost more then their value.

Why not just send them actual cash?

Coles sell Vanilla visa gift cards. (They have a $5 activation charge.)

If getting from Coles, better off getting the Mastercard with PIN than Vanilla Visa.

Bank to bank transfer works fine - no postage and no restrictions on where your friend can spend.

    Transfer money is better

Whatever card you buy, just don't get Everywhere gift cards. Have had bad experiences with them.

  • My friend once setup a wedding paypal wishing well that people can deposit cash into to fund their new dog/furniture/travel etc.
