Help - Moved Belong to Superloop - No connection

Hi guys,

I was having problem with Belong since last month, I was in 50/20 plan with them, but since 2 days ago I've been without connection, I tried many ways to enter in contact with them and nobody answered me. (I tested another modem as well)

Due this situation I moved this morning to Superloop because they are offering 6 weeks free in their 100/20 plan.

I signed up and they sent me a message that everything was ready to use, but I'm still without connection, do I need to change any configuration?

I have a NetComm NF8AC and it's with this configuration: VDSL, Ipoe, No VLAN TAG and IP automatically.

It's NBN over FTTN/B technology.

Thanks!

Superloop are very helpful if you actually call them.

I'm on the call at the moment, waiting more than one hour :(

It's Saturday so probably busier than usual. You can also live chat I think but probably would have been better to do it yesterday.

      • Our experience was that it was very difficult to get through to anyone whenever we had issues with Superloop. Moving to another ISP. Not worth the wait on the phone, hoping to get through.

  • Have you rebooted?

It seems like the problem is not on ISP end since both ISPs have the same issue. You never really have to call ISP unless you really need to talk to them to ask what’s happening on NBN side. This is where AussieBB shines.
Ask your neighbours if they’re having the same problem. The whole building probably doesn’t have internet.

You should never switch providers if you have an outstanding fault on your service

  • I went from Aussie BB to Superloop, I didn't even rest my router it switched over on its own

    • Even routers need a rest every so often.

Yep I usually take mine out a few times a year for a spa day, followed by a nice intimate meal.

      • I'll take that into consideration! Does anyone actually turn their routers off to give it a rest though?

Thanks for helping me, it's working fine now, the attendant fix the problem in her system.
