Free Exclusive LEGO Winter Set with Purchase over $100 @ LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne

90

LEGOLAND recently received some re-stock on Creator Expert, Ideas, and some Star Wars LEGO sets. Great gift with purchase for anyone wanting to purchase from LEGOLAND. Shipping is flat rate $19.99, so best to buy multiple sets to make the shipping worthwhile.

They had Tree House restocked but out of stock as soon as I posted it on my insta. Downtown Diner is still available for anyone looking for this set.

$20 shipping is a bit rich when the store is closed and even lego.com ship for free above $X

    • It is. I mainly buy their exclusive LEGO sets from them. Due to Covid, they open an online store. Their exclusive sets are usually only available to purchase in store at LEGOLAND theme park. It's a shame that we don't have LEGOLAND at NSW. 😔

    • Yep. Pretty bad. I only bought tree house from them coz I was desperate. But even a free gift is not gonna make me buy more there.

I really wanted downtown diner but I opted to buy from Mighty ape, based in NZ as soon as they got stock. Can't find stock anywhere. Only a $5 shipping fee. Anyone bought from them before? They good with deliveries to metro area in Aus?

There's even imrickjamesbricks, a local retailer who doesn't charge shipping if you buy $X amount

      • Mighty ape is great. Bought multiple times a variety of items.

  • Nice stuff , I had a crack at Diner :)

How did you know the 2 that are most likely retiring ?

    • +1

      Awesome!

Yes I do. They are both rumoured to retire this year. I don't see them in stock much anymore. Especially tree house, I got so many people DM me asking where to buy one since they are out of stock most of this year. Covid certainly exacerbates the stock level. :(

Ideas sets don't seem to stick around long, and there are lots more in the pipeline. So I'd say Treehouse isn't long for this world

I understand times are tough but charging over rrp when you are an official LEGO store is not ok

What is being sold above RRP? Looks standard to me

        Look at the Nes set…

        • +3

          .. It's $350 here and at Lego.com. That's the official price.

No idea why I was downvoted by idiots.

          • @Merlict: Some one there reads ozbargin, it’s been $380 all week and magically changed when I just complained about it. I’ve been watching it

    • +3

I dont mind the negs, since the comment got them to fixed the price. I finally got my lego NES :) since I live near by for pickup.
I know the discount is small but I refuse to pay full price let alone over rrp. So happy! NES set looks awesome!.

      • Did someone provided the code? Seems that the previous comments were all neg. and not displayed.

        • You can’t see neg comments?
Anyways no code just orders over $100, I just picked mine up today. Comes in a cute gift box

A few year ago a friend of mine not only bought for himself but rented a queue at San Diego Comic-Con in USA .
He bought a Brickheadz 41497 Spider & Venom at RRP plus all the above expense worked out about 3 X RRP .
Last one he sold was around $900 .
Hmm he so dumb buying above RRP :)

      Confusing smart with luck…

Survivorship bias can lead to overly optimistic beliefs because failures are ignored, such as when companies that no longer exist are excluded from analyses of financial performance. It can also lead to the false belief that the successes in a group have some special property, rather than just coincidence (correlation proves causality).
