Good bang for buck beard trimmer/shaver?

I'm looking for a device that will trim my beard, to varying lengths, but is also able to completely shave. Waterproof would be nice, and perhaps the ability to also shave private areas. I don't know much about electric shavers/beard trimmers though, so I have no idea what to look out for. Ideally under $200.
I'm assuming i'd end up with a set, that has attachments etc?
Thanks!

    • I'm going to Adelaide On Tuesday; are there any retail stores that would sell this for a similar price? I wonder if Shaver Shop would price match?

    • The replacement blades are kinda expensive though

If its in the $200 price range and you want attachments etc. Probably the multigroom 7000.

I don't actually own one however reviews on youtube seem good.

I'm quite impressed by their self sharpening blades they are obviously not the only one to claim this… Wahl claims self sharpening blades as well… they also require oiling which the philips don't

If i was going to buy a wahl probably would get the Wahl Multi blade.

But i'm not sure on why id go with oiling when there is a better option also don't know how the motor and blades compare…

    • I own a multigroom 7000 18-1, and it's really good. I'd wait for a sale though

Personally i really wish a multi groom 7000 Deal like this one would show up:

  • …save yourself some cash

    • … Not the same product if it was i'd buy that instead.

The blades on the multigroom 7000 will stay sharper for longer

5000 requires 18 hours for 80 minutes charge.

      7000 in the 17 - in 1 charges upto 5 hours.

7000 has a Body groom blade would also help OP with shaving private areas.

Plus extra attachments allow for more length with the beard.

  • Best bang for buck is a pair of scissors, I upgraded from a knife :p (true)

    • Any accidents ?

      • no, I usually have a few drinks b4 I use a knife as it steadies my hand
The knife has to be sharp so you don't use too much force to cut the beard
Just cut it like you have a saw in your hand, but it is a knife
I miss living in the bush
