    I won't buy another pair of running tights that don't have a side phone pockets. Arm bands for phone stink now that phones are giant.

          Yes and no. Spibelts are almost no bounce. Bumbags are bulky and annoying as hell when running.

        Running belt. They secure phones, keys etc and also stops them bouncing. SPI brand is popular or cheapo $3 ones from Aliexpress, but the zippers are crap on those cheap ones.

        Pockets in shorts, which sucks. Arm bands, which suck. The belts are not bad. Pocket in the running pants are streets ahead, keeps it close to your leg without moving, and is not uncomfortable at all.
