Each to their own…I find these pretty bland.

    • What brands do you like? Do you go for ones which are promoted as more tippy or are not made with CTC?

      • I like the extra strong lipton tea bags - Lipton Intense.

These are OK, just very weak.

I like Nerada, also like Twinings Assam and Australian Afternoon, just to name a few.

        • +1 for the Australian Afternoon :)

        • Nerada is a quicker brewing tea. It is made with CTC where the leaves are sorted, pulped, dried and crushed. Dilmah is not pulped meaning it takes longer to brew, has a lighter taste and doesn't have the edgy aftertaste. There's nothing wrong with either production method as people have differing expectations from tea.

But if you have had to use Dilmah and wonder why it seems a bit of a dud after Nerada, Lipton etc that is why. If you brew Dilmah and others not made with CTC the right way they make a decent cup.

  • Just in time!!!

  • Dilmah Extra Strength is quite tasty .. do try it .. :-) .. !!
