Crocs - Poor Quality and Equally Bad Customer Service

I've avoided buying any Crocs shoes for years now, but fell victim to staying at home and seeing a discount offer to get what I thought would be comfortable stay at home shoes.

I bought the slippers and received a sizeable discount, though I never received a receipt both in the box with the goods or emailed through to me. I followed up on this to try get my Cash Rewards which keeps offering 5% back, but I to this day have not had success from their customer service email.

100 days on from wearing them, both soles have split. I brought this up with customer service, who by the way are based in America with a reply that their product warranty is only 90 days…. so tough luck, but gave me a promo code to get 30% off a replacement purchase. I received a larger discount when I first bought them!

I tried calling to discuss this matter, which the American accent on the message said I would be waiting an "extremely" long time because their service personnel were working from home… if it's heard that once…

    I bought the slippers

Thats where you went wrong. Youre only ever meant to buy the clogs

    • I agree. I’ve had no trouble with my clogs but the slippers might be different.

  • No offence to users of Crocs, they are extremely comfy but the design is just so fugly.

Oh absolutely. We have a “no crocs in public” policy; but they are great around the house.

I’ve attached a post I did, unfortunately you can only see the small picture so you can’t see them in all their glory.

      • That is absolutely sexy, I might have to amend my above comments…

        • I saw them at the store and they were everything they promised to be. Sometimes the manufacturer should just accept the pig without trying to put lipstick on it.

    • I'm not sure why, when or how but I am offended!

You have consumer law rights for items purchased from Australian businesses. 90 days is not a reasonable lifetime for shoes.

I would say you could push them harder for replacement if you wanted to. If they are doing business in australia, they need to comply with australian consumer laws.
