There would be liability insurance, etc. that would cost the business a bomb. I don't know what's reasonable; get a few quotes and post back.
If your child was older, maybe sponsor a horse or hire it for a few weeks. The only problem is the potential liability to the owner if something were to happen to your child, which makes this avenue unlikely, hence the high formal costs.
There is a place that runs Pony Camp for about 200 per day, from memory. I can't tell for sure. The location is 38 Hilversum Crescent, Belrose and the phone number I sent to you in a private message. Send kids there 10 am and get them back like 3 pm? Not a full day.

@jiaqi518: If your kid is horse crazy and you have the time when you don't have the money, then just take your kids put on my horse and walk the horse with the lead rope in the arena. That should be simple enough for non-riders although I can't take any liability for that.
