[PSA] Found a Great Android App for Price Tracking (KAEYO)

Hey all,

I came across this app while searching for a long time for price tracking utilities. I've tried a few. Keepa looked promising for amazon, but falls short of camel x3 for reliability, and that is only web based. I found another one called Price Alert, and the dev wanted to charge $15AU per annum for something that didn't work too well. I also tried Fluctuate which didn't really work for anything Australian.

Universal Price Tracking Tool (or KAEYO) works great and the dev is very responsive to ideas and improvements. I think it cost ~$4 and works amazingly to get notifications for price drops to your desired price after checking with your desired interval. I have mine set to 15 minutes and it now notifies me before camel x3. You can also backup your list to google drive and it shows you complete price history from the time that you add it by list and graph. There is also folders so you can organise different lists.

Hope this is of interest to someone and we can support the developer.

  • What about iOS?

    • Not sure. It's been hard enough to find a good one for Android, I've got no need for iOS. As far as I'm aware this particular app is android only. Good luck.

  • Hey there, I've added two using the share to function. When checking for a price decrease does it only check the site that I shared it from, or does it use the item name and search other websites?

    • Only the site you shared it from (I'm pretty sure). That would be an awesome feature but pretty difficult to implement I guess. I'm going to share this thread with the developer by email so he can see ideas.

  • Does it stream sports too?
