kogan have a sale on their 5m colour led light strip for 24 hours. Their website indicates the original price is $79.99.

The quality if these appear to be in line with the kmart mirabella genio brand which retails for $55.00. So for $35.99 + $9.99 delivery this is not a bad deal.

These are Google home and alexa compatible and ip65 water resistant rating.

I have the kmart version and ideally would be nkce if these were brighter hower for the price these are fine. Other brands at 5m with the same ip65 rating are far more expensive, if you can find them with the same ip65 rating and wifi capability.

          Yeah I couldn't find anything to suggest that it would work with either Google or Alexa, but I have a couple of spare smart plugs so my hope is that it'll remember the last setting and switch on when prompted.

    Has anyone here flashed these with Tasmota, either Tuya-Convert, or via hardwire flash? I found this post here: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/australia-electrically… Concerned that these can't be flashed with Tuya-Convert so I'll have to open them up and flash them directly.

          If you want a more affordable option of that feature check out Viral LEDs. I believe they do it much cheaper but not tried personally.
