  • Heat gun + Marshmallows = ?

  • Didn't realise they'd even bother to make 18V cordless heat guns given how much power it takes. But they did … all 15 minutes operating time on a huge 5Ah battery lol

Turns out Ozito have one too with a little less grunt

I have been tempted to get a heat gun for things like making use of some leftover PVC pipe, but probably stick to corded lol.

      lol

      • Sounds like a good way to cook an expensive battery.

        • How would you cook the battery? By using the heat gun?

Can anyone tell me how I can tell what has been reduced in e ryobi range and what hasn’t? It doesn’t say on the bunnings site !

  • What if you bought a few tools last weekend, have opened them and used, and now they are cheaper? Looks like I could have saved quite a bit $$$. Any protection here?

Probably easiest to just buy again, then return with the old high price receipt.

  • Hi OP, have you seen any car polishers for sale? If you see any can you please let me know? thanks

  • Looks like the Brushless Angle Grinder is also a good deal for $153, down from $219

  • Anyone know the difference between these 2 jigsaws? jigsaw 1 and jigsaw 2

    • +1

hey mate, Jigsaw 2 is brushless get that one if you are tossing up between the two. Uses magnets and generally just performs better. If $120 is all you want to spend and it's only for odd jobs, get Jigsaw 1 and you won't be disappointed.

      • brushed motors also use magnets

  • Apologies for the dumb question but what would you use a power file for? I’ve never seen one being used before. To my eye it looks like it’s just a different-shaped detail sander.

    • by the looks of it, probably takes more off…i'd almost see it as a portable belt sander.

    • They especially good for cleaning welds on pipe/tube as well.

  • Poor me, started 6 months ago buying ryobi and now is like lego… collection even if i dont use them at all XD

  • Got one, thanks. Could have used one on my last project to clean up some box joints.

  • Power file back to $149

    • Still saw all these products discounted in store today at Lidcombe NSW
