    Starbucks pods are yummy!

      agreed!

      • Probably made overseas and imported. There are locally manufactured and made pods that support local people instead of multi nationals, and are cheaper. Check out urban brew as one example (no affiliation)

        • tbh - all i can see is theyre "australian" company -
beans are not australian and i couldnt tell if they are packed here
defs not cheaper than this though unless you suscribe

and multi nationals support australian by having thousands and thousands of aussie staff

          • @astarman: Check out podista, that's the parent company that own them. Fair point about imported beans, but I'm OK with that and they are roasted and packed by a local pod producer.

Each to their own, but I rather give my $ to support local industry and reduce carbon footprint of what is a rather unenvironmentally friendly product in the first place.

Sumatra Single Origin is the best.

      • … not included in sale. Still $6.90

        • you can buy @wow $4.80 now.
          It has good roast smell

      • what other "flavours" are good?

        • +1

          Colombia is good too

    • They are made in Switzerland by Nestle/Nespresso so I assume they come out of the same factory as the original Nespresso pods. So if you can look past the poor Starbucks reputation that it has here, they're actually pretty good.

  • Keep in mind there are minimum quantities. 3 or 5 sticks of each in most cases.

  • Would these fit in the Vertuo model?

    • No, they're the standard pods, not the vertuo ones.

      • Ah, damn - cheers for the info though :)

How do these compare to the Vittoria nespresso pods? I haven't really liked any of the Vittoria pods so far. Some extract too fast and some almost choke the machine. Flavour wise not great either.

    • I find the vittoria pods the worst of the supermarket ones, watery and not enough crema. I like my coffee strong and like the starbucks Espresso and L’or Onyx.

  • All on sale at Woolworths for same price including Sumatra and Pike .

  • Thanks OP.

If you S&S at this price, will you get charge always at this price? Or will it be at next mont price?

Whatever the price is at the time. But you'll get notice ahead of time and you can elect to opt out for that one, or cancel altogether at any time.
